Chinatown Startups Launch AI and Logistics Products in 2026-2027
Nexlify and peer firms in the district are scheduling AI and logistics releases for late 2026 and 2027 while local programs track funding and hiring.
How we reported this
Nexlify, a five-person team operating from a shared workspace at 41 Mott Street, released its 2027 product schedule on July 10 that lists three new tools for inventory tracking and supply-chain forecasting.
The announcements arrive as Chinatown startups seek steady revenue streams after city data showed a 14 percent rise in commercial rents along Grant Avenue between January and June this year.
Neighborhood anchors
Founders at Nexlify and at two other early-stage companies attend weekly sessions at the Chinatown Innovation Hub on Stockton Street and receive mentoring through the Asian American Tech Alliance program that meets monthly at the Columbus Park field house. Both locations have hosted 28 pitch events since January 2025.
City records list 47 active tech registrations inside the core Chinatown zip code 10013 for the second quarter of 2026, up from 41 the prior quarter.
Planned releases and numbers
Nexlify’s first listed product, an AI dashboard priced at $49 per user per month, is slated for closed beta on October 15 with a public launch set for January 2027. The firm raised $2.3 million in a seed round closed last month. A second tool for real-time freight pricing is due in March 2027, followed by an open-source compliance module in June.
Teams working from the same Mott Street building have committed to hiring four additional engineers by December and to filing two provisional patents before the end of the fiscal year.
Founders can register for the next Innovation Hub cohort through the alliance website before the August 1 deadline; accepted participants receive six months of discounted desk space and direct introductions to three local logistics operators.
